Why should christians use situation ethics when making moral decisions? |
- Based on jesus' teaching to love one another - based on wellbeing of other people - it is personal, takes into account modern culture - if god is love then doing the loving thing is doing what god wants |

- it might lead to evil acts being regarded as acceptable - the idea of love could be difficult to apply if the person is personally involved - humans are likely to be selfish and sinful if they decide for themselves (st paul) - religions have rules that are put in place for the wellbeing of their followers |
