Stranger situation experiment

Securely attached

Stranger enter, they play, mother leaves, kid cries, mother enters receives comfort then goes back to playing

Insecurity attached/avoidant

Child was not upset when mother left room. If they were, stranger could comfort them. Mom entered back in, child ignored or proceeded to her with caution

Insecurity attached and resistant

Very attached to mother. Didn't leave her to play with toys with stranger. Very distraught when mother left. When she returned, child was hesitant to go back to her. Wants to be picked up but appears confused and became angry and agitated.
