Divides world into knowable parts, touchy with emotion (almost repression), self actualization, clarity and precision of written word, linear "doing" of time (unlike African "being" of time), individuation over collaboration, youth focused (not elderly), fits well with traditional counseling theories.

Human nature
a) We al have multiple levels of identiy including individual, group, and universal levels.
Traditional counselling usually only addresses individual and universal, but not group often enough.
Not all cultural affliliations equally important all of the time.
Counsellor must remember: they bring their worldview to the table.
