What is the difference between ABA and EBA |
EBA works with animals and ABA works with humans. |

This can be done by asking the individual, asking a significant other, following and taking notes or a formal preference assessment. |

What is a formal preference assessment? |
First finding out which stimulates the patient the prefers. Then finding out the rankings of those stimuli. Then finding the conditions under which these preferences change . (Deprivation/Salutation) |

What is a trial based preference assessment? |
Single stimuli, paired stimuli, Multiple stimuli, Free operant. |

What is Free operant? |
Measuring the time spent engaging with each activity when the patient is given unrestricted access. |

Why do we need a reinforcer Assessment? |
Just because an item is preferred doesn’t mean it will act as a reinforcer. |
