Meristematic Tissue |
Those plant tissue which are constantly dividing and help in increasing the length and girth of the plant are known as Meristematic Tissue. |
• These tissue are similar in structure and have thin cellulose cell wall. • They may be spherical, oval, polygonal or rectangular in shape. • They are living and contains few or no vacuole. |

Meristematic Tissues are further divided into three parts:- |
I. Apical meristem II. Lateral meristem III. Intercalary meristem |
