What is Newton's first law?

If object A exerts a force on object B then object B exerts an equal and opposite force on object A

Two forces pushing together producing no movement.

Newton's First law

Balanced forces, means no change in velocity. For example, when a bus or anything else is moving at a constant velocity then the forces on it must all be balanced!

Newton's second law

If there is an unbalanced force then the object will accelerate in that direction

The relationship between average speed, distance moved, time taken

Average speed= Change in velocity÷ time taken

The relationship between acceleration, change in velocity, time taken

Acceleration= change in velocity÷ time taken

The relationship between, resultant force, mass, acceleration

Resultant force= Mass × acceleration
