What else does photosynthesis require?

Light and Chlorophyll (makes plants green) because plants gather the sun's energy with light-absorbing molecules called pigments.

What does Chlorophyll do?

Absorbs light well in the blue-violet and red regions of the visible spectrum. (Graph with wavelengths and colors/pigments)

What pigments does Chlorophyll not absorb well?

Chlorophyll doesn't absorb light well in the green region. Green is reflected by leaves which is why plants look green.
