Aspirin

NSAIDS - anti-inflammatory, decreases bld clots, treats pain, increases bleeding, tinnitus, Do not give to children, do not give with Inderal, take w/ food or milk to avoid stomach upset

K-sparing diuretic-blocks action of aldosterone, inhibits Na-K pump, s/e: hyperkalemia, GI disturbances, turns urine blue, restrict foods hi in K, do not take w/ ACE inhibitors, use caution in pts. w/ renal problems, good for CHF pts

increased creatinine level, blurred vision and halos, eat K rich foods (when taking diuretics), Digibind is antidote
