Cytoplasm. Fluid containing following organelles

Ribosomes. Granules contains RNA. Create proteins.

Mitochondria. Sausage shape

Endoplasmic reticulum. Smooth or rough. Smooth syrhocycis Lipids and steroid hormones and detoxify some drugs

Rough. Studded with ribosomes can be exported from cell.

Golgi apparatus. Take protein fro ER. Package them and expel through cell membrane as needed.

Lysosome. Digestive enzymes brake down waste.

Name the stages of the cell cycle

2 stages

1) interphase. 1st phase cell grows. Synthesis of dna (dup chromosomes) 2nd phase further growth and prep for division

2)Mitosis. 4 stages prophase (original and duplicated chromosomes join). Metaphase. (Chromatids line up) Anaphase (superate at centre) . telophase (membranes reform x 2 in 1 cell.

Cytokines. 2 separate cells form.

Apoptosis. Normal cell death.
