Yellow, SPS

1, used for blood cultures and is always first.

Light Blue, Sodium Citrate

Must be filled completely. Second and always after the first yellow

Red, Gold or Tiger Top (Serum), No Anticoagulant

Has no anticoagulant and comes after light blue. This one is third in the order

Green, Heparin

This one is the fourth in the order and is after red.

Fifth in line and after green. Pink is usually used blood banks.
