P (pia mater)-


innermost layer-on the brain itself, thin and vascular

D (dura mater)-


lies against the bone, is thick, and durable, contains double layer ofconnective tissue- outer-layer is periosteum, has thick venous channels(sinuses) between the two layers- where venous blood and CSF drains into.


CSF- cerebrospinal fluid



is found in the subarachnoid space ( space between arachnoid andpia mater (including in SC)and exitsinto the superior sagittal sinus.
