I- base of the proximal phalanx of the related finger & the extensor aponeurosis

Dorsal Interossei

A- abduct the 2nd, 3rd & 4th fingers at the metacarpophalangeal joints, assist to flex the 2nd, 3rd & 4th fingers at the metacarpophalangeal joints, assist to extend the 2nd, 3rd & 4th fingers at the interphalangeal joints


O- adjacent sides of all metacarpals


I- base of the proximal phalanx of the 2nd, 3rd & 4th fingers and the extensor aponeurosis

A- abduct the 5th finger, assist in opposition of the 5th finger towards the thumb


O- pisiform and tendon of flexor Carpi Ulnaris
