2 demi plie, 1 grand plie, side stretch 1234of the leg in demi plie, side stretch of the leg in demi plie 5678. Releve 23456. Plie 7 change 8. Add 1 leg balance to each position. |

Perform 6 series Bartineff |
Core distal-begin in X position on the floor. Draw the body in on an exhale and expand out on the inhale. Also performed on the side of the body. Headtail: in the X position, draw the top and bottom of the spine together. Body half: using one half of the body (right or left side) draw the elbow into the knee. Cross lateral: movement comes from the center of the body to create a long line from the tip of the toes of one side of the body through the finger tips of the right side of the body. Upper lower: turning onto the front side of the body, tuck the toes and pull the body through to a low cobra position. Exhale and push back off the hands to release the body back to the start position. |

Pencil turns key points to remember |
Spot your turns. Prep is from parallel 4th position. While turning the arms are in a low first position. The leg is extended in front at a low angle and should almost drag the floor. Excersize will be performed on both right and left side |

Developpe across the floor |
Developpe front, side, back side. Foot must articulate through coupe (at the aankle) and move up the leg into passe (at the knee) Developpe front is in parallel, all others are in turnt out. Find suspension in each position before changing, the excersize will be performed on both the right and left sides. |
