Asharites
School of theology. (Abu al Hasan Ali al-‘Ashari) That reason can be used to defend God. But reason can’t explain everything.
Idn Sina
Philosopher. Believed the universe was form by a series of emmenations from the divine. Everything is part of God.
Ibn Arabi
Philosopher (d.1240)- Makes the Hajj and recieves a vision. Understand the Kaaba is where divine and material come together
