Lytic Cycle (T-even Bacteriophage)
-Causes lyse and death of host cell.
1.Attachement- phage attaches to host cell.
2. Penetration- phage injects its DNA into host cell; it may also have a few enzymes that break down the cell wall of bacteria.
3. Biosynthesis- cuts host’s DNA; direct synthesis of viral components.
4. Release- lysis: host cell lyse (break open) and new virus is released.
