They consist of questions to be answered to gather facts and opinions |

Testing or Statistical Method |
It necessitates a test (teacher-made or standardized) which is presented to the individual for assessment |

Clinical Method or the Case-History Method |
It is a combination of naturalistic observation and testing. Data are obtained through interrogation, writtten record or diaries, accounts from other persons or through personal observation |

Statistical Method |
It reduces data into descriptive terms to permit ready comprehension with less effort |

Survey Method |
It acquires information on behavior through questionnaires, opinion polls, census and ratings |
