Sub-average intellectual functioning and impairment in adaptive functioning with onset before the age of 18.

Mental Retardation

Impairment in social interaction and communication. Restrictive repetitive behaviors often present, including rocking back and forth, head banging. Onset prior to the age of 3.

Autistic Disorder

Persistent pattern or inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity. Symptoms must be present in two or more situations: home, work and/or school. Can be diagnosed in adulthood, but symptoms must have been present prior to the age of 7.

Encopresis

Repeated urination in bed or clothes (involuntary or intentional) in children over the age of 5.

Enuresis

Excessive anxiety concerning separation from home or from those to whom the individual is attached. Onset is before the age of 18.
