Give an example.
The order of the factors does not change the product.


example. 6+8=8+6

The product of any factor and 1 equals the product.

Example:
56 X 1 = 56

Give an example.
The way the factors are grouped does not change the product.

example: 5 X (6 X 7)= (5 x6) x 7
Define Zero Property.

Give an example.
The product of any factor and zero equals zero.

example: 49 x 0 = 0
Define distributive property.

Give and example.
The property of distributing one operation over another with the result staying the same.
example: for multiplication over addition.
