Refactory V-Fib/ Torsades de Pointes: 1-2g in 10ml NS, IV/IO given over 1-2 minutes
Seizures: 2-4g IV/IO/IM Bronchospasm: 1-2gm in 50-100ml NS, given over 5 minutes. |

precautions
|
Use with caution in patients with impaired renal function. Administer Magnesium slowly to minimize adverse effects. Use calcium chloride as an antidote if serious side effects occur.
