Where is the Hypothalamus located and what is its' function? |
The Hypothalamus is located in the brain. Its' function is to secrete hormones and control temperature regulation, hunger and thirst. |

Where is the Adrenal gland located and what is its' function? |
The Adrenal glad is located on the top of the kidneys. Its' function is to produce adrenaline - which controls fight or flight -, aldosterone - which control salt and water balance -, and cortisol. |

The Pancreas is located behind the stomach. Its' function is to produce hormones for glucoregulation in the body. |

The pituitary gland is located in the brain. Its' function is to secrete hormones to aid with growth control, reproduction and blood pressure. |

The thyroid is located in the neck, in front of the windpipe. Its' function is to produce hormones that are linked to metabolism. |

The thymus is located in the upper chest region, between the two lungs.
The function of the Thymus is to develop cells in the immune system called T lymphocytes, they are matured in the thymus which aid the function of the immune system. |

The Ovaries are located in the lower abdomen. The function of the Ovaries is to control the female reproductive system using hormones, for example oestrogen. |

The testes are located in the lower abdomen. Their function is to control the male reproductive system using hormones, for example testosterone. |
