Lie it flat then remove strap and slide the top extension of the ladder of disengaging the pawls then raise the heel end This can be repeated with the middle extension of the ladder |

Place one foot on the lowest round and place both arms straight about shoulder height on the strings Duty of footer to look out for hazards for person on ladder Pawls and step in, step off left/right to avoid person who is footing the ladder then 3,2,1 step back |

1) Sill must be swept (with back of hand) and then hand placed back on round before beginning 2) Dismounting order is always foot, hand, hand, foot. 3 points of contact is always maintained with this method 3) Before stepping into the building sweep with foot and stamp to make sure it can carry weight 4) Ladder must always be footed before it can be mounted (ladder and right called out) and when descending they should kick down twice on the ladder |
