Rule 1

Attempt to manipulate algebraically as shown in the last three problems in this section. Using algebra will work on almost all Data Sufficiency inequality problems

Rule 2

If you cannot manipúlate algebraically ( for instance, you can’t multiply or divide because you dont know the sign of the variable) or it is too cumbersome, try to use logic and your understanding of the number line.

Rule 3

If neither algebraic manipulation nor the number line is working, go to number picking, but make sure you are number picking with a purpose. Beware of the “black hole” of number picking with inequality problems in data sufficiency
