Was a petition sent by parliament to the king to stop the quarrel but the king by then he convinced that america were traitors.

Thomas paine wrote Common Sense. It attacked the arguments that we owed no loyalty and it would be better for America if separated
Why did the editor Thomas Jefferson take out the part about slavery?
Back then it was normal for them to have slaves and if they did they would have problems with the south & offend slave traders.

we attacked on a holiday at night after they went to bed and crossed the Delaware river. we lost not man that day .

It showed we can outsmart and win against the british. our moral went up as well.

they marched 20 miles of wilderness build bridges and chop roads. also carry 600 wagons of supplies.

Finally when the Burgoynes army reached Saratoga springs we out number and beat them. then French & Spain allied.

we trapped them in york town with the help of 29 french warships blocking the navy help for the brits and then with our 16,000 men we surrounded them . Cornwallis with york town exploding around him.
