Reservation contains passenger name, flight, phone ticket arrangement, etc.

Positive Bag Match

The U.S. Federal Avation Admininstration requires that NW perform positive bag match for all of our inernational flights.

This means that we must make sure that every customer who checks luggage on a NW international flight really does board the plane. When the passenger boards the plane, their luggage is loaded on th aircraft. If they do not board, their luggage in not boarded.

Priority Pet Program

System wide program to ensure the safe carriage of animals.

Push Out (or Push Back)

Towing an airplane to a point on the ramp when it can begin to taxi on its own power.

Paved work area around aircraft tarmac.

Reaccommodaton List

There are times flights will have an aircraft change from the one origeinally planned.

This is called an equipment subsitution. Occasonally, there may be an equipment subsitution to an aircraft with a different seating configuration. When this happens, some customers with reserved seats have been assigned different sears. (They have been reaccommodated).

R-O-N

Remain Over Night

Aircraft staying on the ground at the station overnight.

Safety Line

The lines painted around each gate area where no equiptment can be parked while the aircraft is arriving or departing.

T-C-V

Transportation Credit Voucher

Much like a store coupon that gices a discount for future travel. Dollar amoynts may differ.

Terminator

A flight that originates at another station and then terminates at your station.

Through Flight ( Thru Flight)

A flight lands at your station to deplane passengers and/ or to be serviced and then departs to another airport with the same number that it had on arrival.
