why is food frozen?

how does bottling work?

fruit and syrup is put into a jar which is then heated and let to cool. The air then shrinks and creates a vacuum so no oxygen is present so microbes cannot grow

food is sealed in a can then heated up to kill microbes.

the acid in the vinegar kills the microbes

it draws moisture out of the bacterial cells using osmosis which kills them
