Electrolytes |
Electrolytes are minerals in your blood and other body fluids that carry an electric charge. Electrolytes affect the amount of water in your body, the acidity of your blood (pH), your muscle function, and other important processes. |

Hypervolemia vs Hypovolemia |
Hypervolemia, or fluid overload, is the medical condition where there is too much fluid in the blood. The opposite condition ishypovolemia, which is too little fluid volume in the blood. |

Adventitious breath sounds |
Adventitious breath sounds are abnormal sounds that are heard over a patient's lungs and airways. These sounds include abnormal sounds such as fine and coarse crackles (crackles are also called rales), wheezes (sometimes called rhonchi), pleural rubs and stridor. |

Hypothermia vs Hyperthermia |
Hypothermia is a medical emergency that occurs when your body loses heat faster than it can produce heat, causing a dangerously low body temperature. Hyperthermia is elevated body temperature due to failed thermoregulation that occurs when a body produces or absorbs more heat than it dissipates |

Signs of Hypothermia |
* Shivering, although as hypothermia worsens, shivering stops.
* Clumsiness or lack of coordination. * Slurred speech or mumbling. * Confusion and poor decision-making, such as trying to remove warm clothes. * Drowsiness or very low energy. |

Signs of Hyperthermia |
* Abdominal cramps.
* Muscle cramps. * Nausea. * Vomiting. * Headache. * Dizziness. * Weakness. * Heavy sweat or a lack of sweat. |
