What are the 2 types of antibiotics? |

What causes a superinfection? |
A superinfection is a secondary infection occuring during or immediately after the initial infection by a microorganism that is not sensitive to previous antibiotic used for treatment. * one major consequence of using broad spectrum antibiotics. |

What is a bactericidal antibiotic versus a bacteriostatic antibiotic? |
Bactericidal kills microbes directly while bacteriostatic prevents microbes from growing (after halting growth, body's immune system usually destroys microbes) |
