Northern Ireland Licence class of vehicle
can drive any class of vehicle their licence entitles them to drive in the UK until it expires providing it was issued on or after 01/01/76 or 01/04/86 for ordinary and vocational licences respectively.
Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man length or period driving is allowed
Irrespective of whether they are visiting, resident or vocational residents in the UK and providing their licence is valid, they can drive any vehicle they are entitled to drive, in the UK for up to 12 months. If they wish to continue driving in the UK after that time has elapsed, they must exchange their licence for a British licence.
