Gloves are not required at CCD because they can get "pulled in" and no asepsis is needed.

To keep the machinery cool and to remove excess materials.
What needs to happen to light sources when curing?
Any outside light source, including the loops light must be turned off so it doesn't accidentally cure the area accidentally.
What is the source of eye protection for the hygienist when curing?
The curing shield protects us from the UV but we wear our protective goggle too.

Describe the process of utilizing Topical Fluoride Treatment
1) Pick the correct size of tray
2) Fill the tray minimally, don't want to put too much in.
3) Air Dry the teeth
4) Place top and bottom trays at the sametime in patient 5) Include sucction and keep the PT upright with chin bent down
6) Give Pt some papertowel and don't leave the room for any reason.
