Approach Signals

Put where needed to control speed of train. Triggered by incoming train. When signal in advance is at stop then approach signal at stop for a set amount of time then displays proceed.

Arrival Signal

Signals controlling the entrance to a crossing station. Track Warrant only.

Departure Signals.

Controls the entry into a Block Section where movements are signalled in BOTH DIRECTIONS.

Directing Signals

Used in station yards for directing trains to various platforms and sidings, and for protecting the lines to which they apply.

Home and Outer Home Signals

A home signal authorises entry into a station and defines the start of station limits.

Intermediate Signals

Non-controlled signals to divide block areas and some stations into smaller chunks to allow more train movements.

Starting Signals

Controls entry into a Block Section where movements are signalled in ONE DIRECTION only.
