• Fentanyl or other opioid overdose (Signs include respiratory depression, pinpoint pupils and decreased AVPU/GCS) |

• 800mcg • 2nd dose after 45 minutes • Seek MO advice for 3rd |

• Dilute with 10ml water, mix in ampoule. Give neat over 3-4 mins or add to 100ml of saline for infusion • IV/IO |

How do you give Fentanyl? |
• Buccal (mouth, gums and under tongue etc) |

• Add 20ml saline to powder vial and mix. Give from vial with giving set. • IV over 30 seconds |

• IV over 30 seconds |

Giving drugs directly into patient via cannula, Easy IO or FAST |
