Montgomery Bus Boycott |
1955-56. Rosa Parks refused to give up her bus seat to a white passenger and is arrested in 1955. Led to a year-long boycott of the bus company and the elimination of the policy that says Blacks should give up their seats to Whites. Was headed by Martin Luther King. |
