Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG):
Diverting the blood flow to bypass blockages. Often using vessels harvested from legs or chest.
Endarterectomy
Procedure to remove clots or fatty deposits in the lining of a artery.
Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA):
Feeding a deflated balloon or other device into (an artery) through blood vessels to reach a blockage then inflating the balloon to reduce blockage, or inserting a stent.
