If you are worried, nervous, angry, etc. let someone else drive. You may be aggressive/impulsive & take risks. You should avoid driving.
What should you know about Driver fatigue??
When you are tired, you dont drive as well. You should not push yourself to the point of not being mentally & physically alert. You should rest every 2 hrs and not drive longer than 6 or 8 hrs a day. take a break, have coffee, chew gum, listen to the radio, let fresh air into your car.
What is defensive driving??
not only taking responsibility for yourself & your actions but the "other guy" too.
What is aggressive driving??
a traffice offense or a combination of offenses like following too closely, speeding, unsafe lane changes, failure to signal, these can lead to road rage not only for the aggressive driver but for others on the road too.
What are some actions associated with Road Rage??
Blowing the horn, forcing car off the road, verbal abuse, sign language, bumping into another car, intentionally damaging another vehicle, physically assaulting another driver, etc.
