When decision is made, some individual or groups will have to bear created costa than other (trade-offs) Eg:residents living near expressways may be heavily affected by the noise generated from the traffic Eg: the Not In My Backyard (NIMBY) syndrome. The situation is more difficult due to the limited amount of land in Singapore--- facilities would be built near where some people live. |
