It isn't bent nor cracked. The joints are free of clutter! Don't have the truck on when inspecting!
What is the distance when the break is pushed for the slack adjusters?
No more than 2 inches! Ours automatically adjust.
What is the minimum tread depth on front steering tires?
4/32
What is the minimum tread depth on non-steering tires?
2/32
What are the three things they are looking for on tires?
Inflation, Condition and Depth!
What are the three Emergency Equipment Pieces they are looking for?
Fuses, Fire Extinguisher, and Triangles
What does the C stand for in the lights check?
Clearance Lights!
Red on rear, Amber elsewhere!
What do I need to remember about the lights?
We need to check all of them.
Left, Right Blinkers

Backup Lights!, Taillights
Explain Stop/Start Maneuver!
Stop on side of road!
Right turn signal, smooth stop.
Don't block anything, Turn on 4 ways after stopped.
Apply Parking break. Foot off pedals!
When instructed, turn off hazards and merge.
Remember left turn signal!
Moving Test - Parking Break
Remove Chocks, Leave Parking break on. Push on gas a little.
Remember seat belts!
Moving Test - Service Breaks
Let the vehicle move at 5mph, hit service break.

Governor Cut Out Test!
Let them know when it cuts out! 120psi. Must not go past 130 psi!
Governor Cut in Test!
Drop PSI until it comes on! Must come on before 85 psi!
Applied Leakage Test
Turn off parking breaks!
Let pressure build to max!
Turn off engine!
HOld down break for 1 minute
3 psi for singles, 4 for doubles, 6 for tripples
Low Pressure Warning Device Test
Alarm Must Sound at 55 to 75 Psi!
Engine off, Key On!
Spring Break Auto Test!
Turn Engine Off but Key on.
Hit Air until it comes on. Parking break off!
20 to 45 psi! About 25 psi on our trucks
