Ventricular repolarization

When is Atrial Depolarization on an EKG?

During the QRS complex

What is the Sinoatrial Node?

SA Node. This is where Cardiac depolarization begins.

What is the Atrioventricular node?

AV Node. This is the 'bridge' between the atria and ventricles for electricity. From the SA node electricity comes here and then goes to the AV bundle (Bundle of His)

What is the atrioventricular bundle?

Bundle of His

This is after the AV node and splits into bundle branches going off to each ventricle

What are bundle branches?

Electrical pathways (left and right) after the AV Bundle that are on the ventricles

What comes after bundle branches in the electrical pathway of the heart?

Purkinje Fibers, also known as subendocardial fibers

Coronary Sinus
brings blood into rt. atrium from myocardium of the heart
