Resource- Any physical material that is a constituting part of earth that people need and value.


Reserve- A subgroup of a resource of that has been discovered, have a known size, and can be extracted at a profit.

A Renewable Resource and Non Renewable Resources:

Renewable Resources: It is a resource that can be used repeatedly and doesn't run out as it is naturally replaced. For example, solar energy, wind energy and geothermal pressure.


Non-renewable resources: It is a resource that has limited use due to a high demand but short supply as it is not replaced naturally. For example, coal and other fossil fuels.
