One difficulty is that not everyone is going to pay the charge as they can't afford it. Renewable Switching: Move away from fossil fuels to low carbon energy sources e.g., UK's offshore wind turbines. One difficulty is that the cost of alternatives is high to produce and purchase. Energy Efficiency: Technological improvements that vehicle engines are more efficient. One difficulty is that such technological improvements aren't cheap or time efficient. |
