Contractual Capacity

Contractual Capacity is the legal ability to enter a contract.

The Rule of Contractual Capacity

Any person is competent to be bound by a contract that he enters with the intention to be bound as providing there was no force or coercion.

Minors

Minors are generally persons under the age of 18 and where there is a contract with a minor and an adult, the minor may not be bound. The minor may however after reaching the age of majority ratify the contract by an act confirming the promise he made as a minor.
