Immerse puncture in non-scalding hot water (110-113F) to achieve pain relief, continue immersing urging transport Don’t remove spine in field Pain management May take 30-90 minutes for relief with water |

Evaluate ABCs Attempt to remove visible tentacles with 4x4 with a double gloved hand If available apply a vinegar soaked gauze to area for 30 minutes Pain management After pain relief attempt to remove remaining tentacles with shaving cream and gentle scraping with credit card |
