What does BIOS stand for? |

What is it? |
1. Is what allows the computer to start up. 2. Usually stored in flash memory or in EPROM 3. When a computer is first switched on it looks to the BIOS to get it up and running. BIOS carries out POST. The bootloader program is executed to load the OS' kernels into memory. |
