Whats the difference between gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria?
|
Gram negative is usually pink/red stained and contains some peptidoglycan and an outermembrane. Gram positive has a purple/blue stain, extensive peptidoglycan and retains stain better than gram negative cells do.
