Pec major & serratus anterior
Travels to lumbodorsal facia posteriorly

Origin = inferior pubic crest
Longitudinal orientated muscles
Have tendinous inscriptions.
Where is the arcuate line & what is its significance?
Halfway between belly & pelvic bone
All rectus sheath layers pass anteriorly.
What is the blood supply for the rectus sheet.
Superior epigastric (branch of femoral) - runs superiorly (doesn't enter sheath)

Inferior epigastric = branch of external iliac - runs deep.
What creates the inguinal canal?
Roof = Arching fibres of conjoined tendon
Floor = inguinal ligament
anterior wall = external oblique aponeurosis & internal oblique muscle
posterior wall = transverse fascia.
