Integumentary System
The external covering of the body, or the skin.
Skeletal System
Bones, ligaments, joints, cartilage that protects and supports body organs and provides a framework for the muscles.
Muscular System
Muscles of the body, which contract to move.
Nervous System
Brain, spinal cord, sensory receptors allow body to respond to stimuli.
Endocrine System
Endocrine glands produce hormones and release them into blood to control things like growth, reproduction and food use by cells.
Cardiovascular System
The heart and blood vessels carry oxygen and nutrients to and from tissue cells.
Lymphatic System
Lymphatic vessels, lymph nodes, spleen and tonsils cleanse the blood and house the cells involved in immunity.
Respiratory System
Keep the body constantly supplied with oxygen. Mainly lungs, nasal passages, etc.
Digestive System
Stomach, esophagus, intestines, rectum. Break down food and deliver products to blood for the cells.
Urinary System
Dispose of body's wastes. Primary organs are kidney, ureter, urinary bladder and urethra.
Reproductive System
Produce offspring.
