First Continental Congress 1774 |
12 of the 13 colonies met to discuss events in Boston. They decided to stop ALL trade with Britain until Intolerable Acts were repealed. |

Battle of Lexington & Concord 1775 |
british troops went to Concord to destroy weapons the Colonists had hidden. The colonists had moved them. In Lexington, the Redcoats confronted colonists....shots were fired. |
