What is the treaty of Paris?

The treaty of Paris ended the French and Indian war/ seven years war between Great Britain and France. France gave up all it's territories in mainland North America , effectively ending any foreign military threat to the British

The Boston massacre was a disagreement between a British soldier and a colonist and it turned into a brawl where more soldiers showed up and five colonists were shot. There were so many British troops in Boston because of the quartering act and other acts forcing the colonists to house soldiers. The colonists exaggerated the fight and called it a massacre to their advantage.

What did they do?

Sons of liberty were a group of patriots who took action against the British and they dressed as Mohawks and went aboard British ships and threw off boxes of tea ( the Boston tea party )

The British passed intolerable acts as a punishment of the Boston tea party by closing Boston harbour and by forcing colonists to house British troops also allowing British officials to stand trail in Britain. The British were trying to gain control but this only made things worse and angered the colonists even more.

The Quebec act passed by the British allowed the citizens of Quebec to keep their language and practise and also did not allow anyone in the Ohio river valley. This angered the American colonists because they wanted to expand.

The British army marched to Lexington because they heard the colonists were stock piling weapons and so they marched to Lexington and attacked and it turned out into a tie between the colonists and the British.
