Activate the Amalgam capsule with the activator

Place the capsule into the triturator, close the lid, check for the appropriate setting and begin trituration.

Remove the capsule from the triturator, openthe capsule, and spill the amalgam into the amalgam well.

fill the amalgam carrier by pressing the end carrier into the soft amalgam so as to pack the carrier to the top with amalgam. ( The dentist may request the small end or the large end of the carrier fist.)

Transfer the carrier to the dentist with the filled end on the carrier toward the preparation to be filled.

Continue the hand-off of the amalgam carrier to and from the assistant to the dentist until the preparation is over filled.
