Allen v. US
Involves a nuclear fallout claim w/ victims suing over damages.

Cannot second guess agency decisions based on new information so long as they are made with “good faith”
DeShaney v. Winnebago:
Boy was abused in foster care, got brain damage.

Cannot sue the state for an agency action going wrong so long as made in good faith, did not have direct control over situation at the time.
Butz v. Economou:
Attempted to revoke agriculture license, failed.

Plaintiff attempted to sue the state for improper administrative action, cannot sue in GF decisions, state officials have qualified immunity for all actions taken w/in scope of authority.
Nixon v. Fitzgerald
Guy lost job because of testimony given before congress.

President has absolute immunity for official actions. Due to unique role in SOP, extends to "outer perimeter" of his duties.
Harlow v. Fitzgerald:
Unlawful discharge from USAF.

Pres. Aides have qualified immunity (official actions) except when itcomes to national security or foreign affairs then it is absolute.
INS v. Chadha:
Deals with legislative veto/immigration

LV violates bicameralism/presentment clause. Cannot use LV over actions of exec branch.
