Construction

Construction in Geometry means to draw shapes, angles or lines accurately. These constructions use only compass, straight-edge (i.e. ruler) and a pencil. This is the "pure" form of geometric construction.

Perpendicular

A line meeting another at a right angle, or 90° is said to be perpendicular to it.

Angle bisector

A line that splits an angle into two equal angles. ("Bisect" means to divide into two equal parts.)

Geometry

Geometry is a branch of math that focuses on the measurement and relationship of lines, angles, surfaces, solids and points.
